| I like the Patrol as well but I would add the Toyota Fortuner to your list, Apparently new someone told me they are mid '80s so if you can find one second hand it should be within your budget. I like the look of 'em |

Lincoln. They have stacks of room inside and despite their size are easy to park etc Nice car to drive.
Durango is smaller and although 7 seater not as comfy as the Lincoln (for the extra passengers that is) but drives well on sand-seems to chew a fair bit of petrol though.
If you are looking for a car that does well on the sand I'd say Toyota Prado and Mitsubishi Pajero-there are the most common say on Allenby Beach and seem to do really well. |

I agree with Yshimy, the Sorento is an awesome car...
There is also this Chinese brand called, Cherry... I sat in one owned by a close friend of mine and I liked it... _________________ We came, we saw, we conquered...

Go for the Tahoe.
There are nice used ones on the market with a lift package, huge off road tires and custom leather inside (I've seen Ostrich and Gator). Regency Conversions is the company to go with... |
