hi,

i will be in australia in february and intend to spend 1.5 week around brisbane.

basically i will split my time in two parts:
daily swimming lessons (intensive) & bike rides
nights bars / cultural events(theatre, music) / pick-up

1/i would choose gold coast but it sounds me too much as an "all beaches" ressort without a broad & eclectic night life.
2/how should i proceed to find quickly a competent swimming instructor for private lessons? Any association, recognized website ?
