You will get your own room, bathroom and space and the use of our home. The room is partially furnished with a bed, table and walk-in wardrobe. You are free every other week, all nights and weekends to find work as this is a non-paying job. There are plenty of bars, shops, fast-food outlets in the area looking for workers. You are welcome to join us for meals. About the House The house is a large, modern 2-storey, 4-bedroom brick house on a 1,000m2 fenced block with views of the mountains and great sunsets. There is off-street parking and we are located about 5 mins drive to Westfield North Lakes Shopping Centre and 2 minutes drive to Alma Park Zoo. We have 2 dogs, wireless broadband internet access, spa, large BBQ, pool and covered entertainment area. The train takes approximately 45 minutes to reach the CBD - please consider and be comfortable with this distance before replying. The Role We are looking for a live-in mother’s helper for our 5-year old girl. She can pretty much look after herself but just needs an adult around. Hours are from 6am till 7am and then from about 1.30pm until about 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, one week on followed by one week off. Duties include getting her up and ready for school each morning, picking her up from school, watching her in the afternoon until we get home from work, keeping the house tidy, getting her ready for bed and making dinner when she is staying with us. Your own car and a blue card is preferred. About Us We are in our early 30s/mid 20s and both work in the City. We aren’t so much party animals these days but don’t mind the odd drink. We are both easy-going and educated. About You We are after someone who is great with kids, friendly, easy-going, tidy, responsible, reliable, able to communicate well and be firm when necessary.
