General Description:
Do you love caring for and teaching children? Would you like to live and work overseas in a secure environment? We need responsible young adults who are native English speakers and are willing to become nannies in European homes in exchange for free room and board and a monthly wage! Most families will expect the au pair to teach the children conversational English.

Length of Contracts:
3-12 months (throughout the year)

Eligibility Criteria:
18-27 years old
Native English speaker
High school education
Good health
Canadian, American, Australian, New Zealand, Swiss citizenship necessary
Drivers license is an asset
At least 2 years of French language study is required for the positions in France
Some other requirements may apply for the visa

Duties:
Au Pair: 25-30 hours per week
Au Pair Plus: 35-40 hours per week

Duties for both include:
Care for children
Teach the children conversational English
Perform light housework
Prepare some small meals (depending)
1-3 evenings of babysitting per week

Pay Structure:
Free room
All meals

plus:
Au Pair earns: $280-$360 US/month
Au Pair Plus earns: $400-$480 US/month

Included in the Package:
Placement in a fully screened family
Free room and board
Guaranteed wage before you leave home
Guaranteed hours determined before you leave home (extra hours to be agreed upon and compensated as necessary by family and au pair)
Guaranteed at least 1 full day off per week
Guaranteed free time to take classes (if desired)
Local emergency contact
Pre-departure package
Paid vacation after 6 months of service
Access to discounted travel health insurance
Contacts with other au pairs

Notes:
Some location, family and dietary preferences can be accommodated, but au pairs must be flexible.
Most families request a female au pair, although placements are available to males in some countries.
Please note that the earlier you apply before your intended date of departure, the more likely your personal preferences will be met.
We can assist with the appropriate paperwork for the Au Pair visa (when required)
