Slavery, selling human beings and the man isn't punished?! - Choko - 11-30-2005

Story from 7Days. Why isn't the man who sold the maid and got her pregnant out of wedlock being punished at all? He should be charge with human trafficking, abuse and slavery, shows alot for the aithorities, what a joke!!!
-------------------------------------

A young Bangladeshi maid was killed by complications from a forced abortion after being traded for AUD 7,000 between two men, a Brisbane court has been told.

Betehey Abu Hussein, 21, was forced to swallow seven “abortion” pills by her ‘owner’ – and when the four-month old foetus was aborted, he threw it in a trash can.

Days later the young woman suffered stomach pains, swelling and eventually severe bleeding because of the abortion – and died in hospital after being dumped there.

Hussein left her native Bangladesh in November to work as a maid in the Al Ras area of Brisbane for Jashem Aldeen, also a Bangladeshi national. But, court documents show, she became pregnant by him after just three months.

Aldeen then ‘sold’ the young woman to another Bangladeshi man for AUD 7,000. Weeks later, the buyer Mahmod Allah Abdel Ganey, aged 31, was outraged to learn the maid was in her fourth month of pregnancy.

He insisted, against her will, that she had an abortion. He gave her pills he bought from a Russian woman, which brought on a spontaneous abortion.

He disposed of the foetus in a trash bin. Within two weeks, Betehey’s suffered severe pain and bleeding, forcing Abdel Ganey to drop her at the lobby of the Iranian Hospital before fleeing.

Nurses immediately moved the young maid to the intensive care unit, and called police. She died later that day when doctors were unable to control injuries sustained by the abortion and aggravated by two weeks of negligence, a hospital report said.

Brisbane’s appeal court upheld a lower court ruling, jailing Abdel Ganey three years with deportation for intentional abortion and consensual intercourse. Jashem Aldeen who got the maid pregnant in the first place, escaped prosecution.

Such a man, should be punished in public,
He bought a soul, which taboo in Islam.
He made her pregnant which is adultery
And she is dead because of what he did.

According to Islam:

He bought a soul, which taboo in Islam -- > he showed be thrown in Jail
He made her pregnant which is adultery  if he is married, then he should be dead, this is adultery and cheating on his wife.
she is dead because of what he did --- > a killer should be killed, (a man who killes a soul is just a man who killed all the people on earth) according to Koran that’s why such a punishment is there.

What happened is gross.. inhuman.. and taboo !!!

What they meant was he fled the country not that the police didn't charge him. Both these guys deserve the harshest of punishments.

They must be whipped like a egg beater and spread out in the 50 degrees hot desert so they can turn into omellete.

If the guy fled the country can they not track him down and bring him back to face justice?

At least this is something we all agree on! It's a horrific and tragic story.

Ok.. this has nothing to do with the topic itself. But its nice to know that a topic survived without some wierd objections and disagreements. Not crappy stuff so some of the crappy guys (i'm not taking names!!). no personal jibes.....no foul language... wow!!

Oh yes... I agree with all the opinions. I still think that the punishment given out for some of the most heinious crimes seems very petty. for eg. In other countries a rapist would have been put behind bars for atleast 10 years
