cars, cars & cars - Zassal - 03-19-2005

i thought i sud make a topic which wud be better ten a political or money exchange topic, so i decided to make this topic

so tell us all, which is ur dream car, or which car u own or want to buy etc

i'll first start
my all time dream car is a 1971 corvette stingray
heres a pic

but as it is a very rare car & impossible for me to own one, a more realistic dream car is a porshe boxter S

wat the hell
a bus with a escalade front
hahahaha

nice
very nice fatty melon

but is this the car u like or did u juct post it

- Fatty Melon - 03-19-2005

That bus would be the only vehicle I would ever buy.
I can pack all the shit I want in the back...a home theatre system, a fridge, a bed...blah blah

Plus I can paint on the windows, faces of retarded kids...then it'll be like the coolest short bus in town.

its for all the kids with down syndrome that also want to pimp!

how could you not love Elanor? a damn classic!

YEAH BABY!!!! you will be mine, oh yes.

- Zassal - 03-20-2005

the impreza is avery fine car
i like it but wud prefer a evo to it

while elanor is a very fine car
very fast, beautiful handling, great looks but i never seem to connect to it
just not my style
i feel i am a little too young for such cars

- Victory - 03-20-2005

The generation gap between elanor and the vette isn't that great....STi's kick ass

- yurki500 - 03-20-2005

I would love to get an Sti, but not when you know thats it's been ripped from Japland and then coverted to LHD. No thanks.

I looked at the Evo MR here. Nice car, but to be honest, for AUD.148K with no maintenance and No warrenty, plus the inside was as crap as a Nissan Sunny (no radio, sweet fanny adams), I thought, NAR. I know you buy the Evo for it's performance and handling, but I am at the stage where I was a bit of style and the Evo is just pure boy racer!

- Victory - 03-20-2005

yeah, the evo isn't very user friendly in the middle east
in OZ there all over the place with kits and shits

i meant it seems like the car for people in there 40's, not for people like me
no offence meant
while the corvette is my dream car but dont want it now, think i wud look wierd driving it, like a kid with his new costly toy

i wud like to drive it later in my life, for now boxter is my aim

- Victory - 03-20-2005

The old vette is a toy but the porsche is fine?
kids in Australia have a really skewed system of values

a porsge wud cost me about 150k AUD while the vette in good condition for more tan 300K AUD , if i am not mistaken, not adding the large maintainence & insurance cost

i wud like to own the porsche , but i wud like to make it clear, i am not in a position to own one now , i wud like to own one though in the near future if i can afford it, if i cant the car will remain a dream (very likely to happen Sad )

- Victory - 03-20-2005

300K??
what are you smoking?

- Zassal - 03-20-2005

Victory Wrote:300K??

its a classic, might cost a lot, not sure, i have seen only a single stingray here, & tat person is not interested in selling his car so i really dont know how much it will cost here
its just a estimate
i am not quite good at cars, its just a hobby

- Victory - 03-21-2005

there are a few to be found if you look hard enough, heavy restoration might be involved though
