Hey guys
I'm looking into the cost of cars in Brisbane - are there any good websites available? Is there any equivelent to Auto-Trader in Brisbane?
I'm looking for either a BMW X5 (bit dated now though), Land Rover Discovery 3 or a Range Rover |

Hi G
Land Rovers are cheap in Brisbane. But be careful especially with Range rover that has "air suspension". If it has been driven off road as so many are you are looking at big bills, and they are considered "expensive" for parts and servicing.
X5 no problems and more sought after/saleable than LR's.

your welcome G - glad to help
A lot of people bad mouth Al Aweer used car complex. Yea there are the car sales sharks there, and crappie cars - but as you know, like in the UK , there are plenty of Arthur Daleys around, whether it be Brisbane or UK.
I bought a 98/99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Ltd LWB 4.0 in bsa mint condition, with every extra you could imagine, owned from new by a lady doctor, with 20 Main dealer stamps in the book with fully comp Ins for 29,000 AUD £4.5k - i mean how cheap is that!!! (uk price at least £10k).
good luck G and remember "buyer beware" |
