Contract Specialist (Supply)

Scope

The Contracts Specialist will assist in preparation, negotiations and setting up of contracts for Operations and Maintenance Supplies for multiple areas within the Oil Sands Project. As an example, this would cover supplies and commodities such as:

 Chemicals

 Motors, Pumps, Fasteners (Nuts, Bolts, Studs)

 Electrical Supplies

 Safety Equipment, Small Tools

 Valves, Pipes, Fittings, Flanges

 Welding Consumables

 Hydraulic Hoses & Fittings

Will be responsible for administration of contracts with respect to changes, amend documents accordingly, and ensure that the controls systems are updated with latest commitment information.

Will assist in the development of the execution and contracting strategy for the detailed supply agreements for the operations and maintenance of the Oil Sands Project while ensuring corporate risk policies are maintained.



Key Areas of Contribution

Develop wide variety of supply contracts and agreements for operations and maintenance environments

Lead functional teams comprising of members from business areas and various stakeholders

Develop procurement plans and strategies for acquisition of supplies and commodities

Contribute towards the overall success of the project, operations and maintenance
