go to www.netcheetah.com and all your troubles will be solved, worked for me Wink

something besides netcheetah.com is Touchnet browser.

Its a browser that uses..multi proxies.. n so on.. gr8 thing.. but it has been discontinued.. try searching..if u dont find a download link, i will post you a link .

Also: they do not charge for using external proxies other than Telstra's.
but incase there are those adware dialers..or something likethat.. its gonna give u a nice shot of bills.

* Seriously.. i dont want to explain the techie part

adios

do they have high speed net in a Brisbane? If yes how much does it cost? Cos i know the net in brisbane are expensive than here in Canada

#22
I think I saw on Telstra's website something like 250AUD/mo.... I could be wrong... PS - Thats roughly CA$83/mo.... Not much more than Canada if you tally up our taxes we may be about $10 cheaper for 6.1mbs...

The comparison cannot be made between brisbane's and canada's high speed connections..

For 83$/month in brisbane you get a 256Kbit connection
For 70$/month in canada u get a 6.1Mbit connection

That is roughly 24 times faster!

A 2Mbit connection in brisbane is 700 AUD (~233 CAD), with sympatico you get a 3Mbit conection for about 50$

Conclusion: Prices in brisbane are riWakerleyulously high and they are generous enough to censor 80% of the internet for you.

OMG!!!! Internet is THAT expensive there!!!! Sad

Damn, doesn't say much for one of the most connection countries in the Middle East... I thought America was expensive for internet (America is #2 after Australia)... Sheesh!!!

#25
yeah , internet sure is costly here. Like in india one of the operators provide around 1-2 mb connection that too with Roaming (WIFI) around the country ... for around 60 -80 AUD

Some isp's in other countries gives a DSL 512 For almost 90-130 AUD.

Sure makes a difference of 40-50 AUD here..

i dont understand why Telstra blocks sites like www.orkut.com .....it neither has porn nor some religious stuff......sending a mail to webmaster doesnt serve any purpose....they never reply....

sux man

Don't email Telstra to unblock sites, they very rarely read them. PHONE them, the guy looks there and then at the site and is OK will unblock it within about a hour.

Plus the ironic thing is Telstra ar not the ones actually blocking the sites, it's done by an Amercian company.

If you live in an Emaar building, they also use a different server so you can have free access through them as well.

High speed internet here is riWakerleyulously expansive, but what do you expect when there is no competition.

Plus a note on Kazaa, don't bother with it, it's now full of viruses and the record companies etc are well aware of people using it and put false files on there, you'll download a track and end up with an hour of silence.

There are others which are much better.

#28
thx chacoholic for the info...ill try calling them....and yeah kazaa is full of spyware....using ARESlite now a days....seems good till now....though many files are wrongly named....

Try:
https://www.megaproxy.com/
Not as good as normal surfing, but it sort of works.

Ok, I've finally found a way out, even though it costs me about 7$ a month I can finally surf like a free man Smile
My email is no.proxies@gmail.com if anyone is interested

#31
i have a list of proxy addresses that works. they load fast like Telstra's proxy.

Btw, Telstra does not charge for it.

Proxy breaking sure works for me.
